Dr Jasmine LAU
Dr Jasmine Lau is the Associate Director for Partnerships and Innovation at the Singapore-ETH Centre. The research centre is an international partnership between Singapore’s National Research Foundation and ETH Zurich. Jasmine helps to drive the centre’s efforts to foster, deepen and expand its partnerships and collaborations internally, and with the ecosystem and beyond, across the multidisciplinary work spanning sustainable, resilient and healthy cities, digital health technologies, and future food.
Prior to joining Singapore-ETH Centre, Jasmine was at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the National Research Foundation. She was part of the team involved in the RIE2025 strategic planning - in particular, supporting the Human Health and Potential domain strategy and building up the Human Potential programme in physical and mental health and well-being across the life course. Her experience at CREATE NRF expanded her experience in working across international partners from top global universities.
Jasmine is a biomedical scientist by training, with broad experience spanning cancer, immunology and stem cell biology. She received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco, and B.Sc. in Biology from Duke University. Jasmine is a recipient of the A*STAR National Science Scholarship.
