As global temperatures rise, the impacts of climate change and how to make Singapore more resilient are of increasing concern to Singapore. At the CLC lecture external page Building & Cooling Singapore in an Era of Climate Change, organised by the Centre For Liveable Cities, Professor Gerhard Schmitt will speak about Cooling Singapore.

He will explain  the goals of mitigating the urban heat island (UHI) effect and improving outdoor thermal comfort, putting the spotlight on how the research interfaces with Singapore’s development plan.
