Complex Systems Design & Management Conference

6 - 7 Dec | The upcoming Complex Systems Design & Management (CSDM) conference will gather key players from the complex industrial systems engineering community to discuss smart transportation.

The 3rd external pageComplex Systems Design & Management (CSD&M) conference take place during 6 to 7 December 2018. Co-organised by the Singapore-ETH Centre, the conference sets out to be an international academic-industrial transversal forum dedicated to all academic researchers and industrial and government actors working on complex industrial systems engineering.

With a focus on smart transportation, CSDM Asia 2018 will gather main actors of the international systems engineering community to tackle societal and industrial challenges and share state of the art research and methods in the field of systems modelling and management.

The conference brings together the following distinguished speakers to discuss smart transportation:

  • Prof Michael Gastner, Assistant Professor for Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics, Yale-NUS College (US, Singapore)
  • Prof Marta C. Gonzales, Associate Professor, UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design (US)
  • Prof Liew Mun Leong, Chairman, Changi Airport Group (Singapore)
  • Mr Ngien Hoon Ping, President, Land Transport Authority (Singapore)
  • Prof Yoshiaki Ohkami, Executive Advisor for Institute of System Design and Management, Keio University (Japan)
  • Mr Nelson Quek, Head of Engineering Division, Port of Singapore Authority (Singapore)
  • Mr Ravinder Singh, President, ST Engineering Electronics (Singapore)
  • Mr Tan Peng Yam, Chief Executive, DSTA (Singapore)

Various formats such as panel discussions, poster exhibition, workshops, tools sessions, an exhibition, as well as a conference dinner will provide participants with a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas and to network.
